Lannan's one of those Long Islanders that lovedlovedLOVED intangibles and Scott Brosius, IIRC. If he makes an appearance in blurange, that'll leave him just the Braves and Fish away from the Eastern flush. Hey, it's depth.

Lannan's probably the better hitter, but his range at SS probably makes Quintanilla look amazing.

I'd like to see Lannan earn a spot the team as a long reliever/spot starter. I want either Mejia or Montero to step up and claim the 5th starter.

I don't think showing up to camp is the biggest concern, it's more making it to the END of camp (and to the end of April, then May..) that's worrisome.
