The Daily Stache reviews the Twitterstorm around the R.A. Dickey trade. Things take off when @MitchNYM (who I pray is our old friend Mitch45) gets involved.

Jon Presser is an interesting handle, wonder if it's real.
[u:1edajwq8]Presser John[/u:1edajwq8] (often 'Prester') was a mythical (we assume) figure in Christian Europe during medieval times who was said to live somewhere in the east (variously the middle-east, India, the Orient, sometimes Africa) where he maintained a refuge of Christianity among the 'heathen' hordes of the non-Christian world.

Hey, yaneverknow.

Actually, I was just wondering whether that was the guy's actual name or something he was using as an internet handle.
Or even, going back to his parents, whether they were aware of the mythical figure or if it's all just a coincidence.

99% sure it's his real name. It used to be Metsjetsnets..or something like that. Doing something SNY related with the Nets I think, I missed him at the QBC (not that I was planning to make him produce ID, though I have a credit card with Ceetar's name on it so..)

The always terrific 99% Invisible (a podcast about design) interviews Paul Lukas about socks.
