Olympic other stuff besides the Games

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/olymp ... -1.1602873 I've had bad first days at hotels too. Plus, Americans sometimes have to remember that not all places are America. This poor guy though...

An abundance of stray cats may be a subtle sign of a dysfunctional government. I remember seeing stray cats all over the place in Italy and Spain, but not at all in Switzerland and Germany.

I was looking for the part in the opening ceremonies where the actors depicted the slaughter of the Tsar and his family, and then the part where they re-enact the tanks rolling into Prague. Maybe NBC was in commercial at those points.

The problem with the figure skating is all the makeup, the eye-liner, the pastel colors, the glitter, the sparkles and sequins, the emotional crying afterward, and so on. Some of the women skaters get pretty dolled up too.
