Met bats hang a 7-spot on Ricky Nolasco and the Twins in the top of the 1st.

Lagares hit lead off and made the 1st and last out of the inning. In between those two ABs:
- Tejada doubled
- Lucas HBP
- Ike doubled
- Brown doubled
- Lutz singled
- Nieuwenhuis tripled
- Teagarden HR'd
- Quintanilla GO
- Lagares lined out

"It's like a Gorilla eating ants"

what? radio guys talking about shelling. for the second straight inning. I'm not quite sure what the gorilla analogy means.

Duda homered again. he's good at that.

9-1 is your final

5.1 IPs from Gee: 1 run, 5 hits, 4 Ks, 0 BBs
Scoreless relief innings from Rice (2/3), Germen, Familia, & Torres
3 hits by Ike, 2 from Lutz

Lutz may be competing with Brownie for a spot as righthanded bat off the bench.

Brownie's doing a heck of a job.

Haven't read this thread yet.

I'm watching the first inning and I like Tejadas double. His last two games he isn't getting cheap hits. Those two doubles (1 yesterday) were hit with auhoritah. I like.

OO, and a 2 RBI double for Ike. Are things coming together?

Holy Schmoly, Mets are teeing off on Nolasco.
7 runs & a team cycle in the first.

Very nice to see.

Twin staff that includes Nolasco, Pelfrey & Hughes is like something mined from my subconscious in 2010.

Duda's homer was effortless. Nice easy swing for an opposite field shot.
