2014 IPP: Gonzalez German

It was moderately popular last year, so we'll try it again this year. IPP stands for Individual Player Predictions. These will be threads where we share our expectations of how a player will perform in the current year. Feel free to make your predictions as specific or as vague as you like. Particularly the fringy ones? Gonzalez German Germen will pitch 17 not very good innings for the Mets. 4.2 ERA. 14 Ks.

Yeah, I think he'll get a few free flights out of Southwest before the season is over. Which is a polite way of saying he won't be good enough to stick.

Yeah there is little basis for a Carson comparison. Completely different guys.

Last year I thought he was going to be sent back down at the first available opportunity, but his ML numbers turned out to be better than his minor league ones and he wound up doing a halfway decent job.
