They also have 3 DH games the following weekend against the Angels.

The bar is lower for Flores as a backup shortstop than it would be for a starter; basically if he's no worse than Turner, the team could carry him. Then the question is if they want him getting regular at bats (or innings in the field). So Seratelli is still in the mix. Brown would be the likely beneficiary if Davis or Duda gets traded, which still may or may not happen.

Flores = "The infield reserve trying to prove he can hack it at shortstop despite what the development guys say." Flores = "The infield reserve who probably should be headed to Vegas."
