You'll never find a better song stylist than Lou Rawls.

I might.

Among other things Rawls lent his silky bass to was the response part of "Bring It on Home to Me" and "When You've Said 'Bud,' You've Said It All."

I saw Lou Rawls perform at the Newport Jazz Fest several years back and I was struck by the resemblance to Hall of Fame secondbaseman Joe Morgan.

Lou did the backup vocals on Sam Cooke's "Bring it on Home."

Jack Snow, 62.
Long time wide receiver for the old LA Rams - and father of now BoSox 1st sacker J.T.

I think I remember hearing that father & son had a falling out a bunch of years ago but I don't know if that was still ongoing.

I get the heebie jeebies every time I see this thread get bumped up top. I don't like it.

Everybody honor Shelly Winters and her iron lungs with some heeby-jeebies.

Those iron lungs (and wherever else she stored oxygen in her body) kept the "Poseidon Adventure" afloat.
