Cleaning out under my computer table I found a smokin' USRobotics 56K
external modem. If no one claims it by 6pm today it's going in the garbage.

First come first served, cables not included.

100MB external zip drive - uh, how could I not see the burnable cd coming?

The zip drive killed me too. Bought me one of those and a bunch of those damn disks to go with it. I bet I could get 50 cents for the whole lot on eBay, so it's not a total loss.

LOL - The HP PC I bought 10+ years ago has a zip drive - I bought a bunch of those discs, too...

My ZiP lost its USB plug rights to the digican connector.

However, I will still use Zippy now and then.

hey, i've got me zip250s and zip750s all up in here.

granted "here" is work, and i still don't use em at all. or at least in teh past two years since those little teeny thumbdrives took up the bulk role of my transportable storage needs.

i just upgraded the hard drives in my home computer. i now have a spare 10GB hard drive that i cannot convince myself that it is indeed garbage worthy, despite the fact that, based on the going rate, would be worth no more than $10 today. i've almost convinced myself that i might want to buy an external hard drive kit for $30 to get (potential) use of my $10 drive, even tho i dont need the space...

Is this limited to technology?

I still have the Playboy issue that had a multi-page photo feature (I considered using the word "layout" ) on Bo Derek, walking naked among wild animals in Aftica, and a farcical interview with the Ayatola Khumeini.

And as I look through it, I can't remember why I kep..., er, never mind.

I think I need one of those sledgehammers for a whole corner of the basement filled with computer parts from way back "just in case."
