Reds had a noon start today at home against the Cards ... but were delayed by weather for some four hours and are still in the early innings as I type, so I'm figuring they'll be all tired and cranky by the time they finish up there and get to New York while the Mets will all be snug and warm in their beds (or in a bar if you're Ike Davis).

This is where I think Terry over-plays the double-switch. Is he really planning on holding Farnsworth over for more than one inning? With two outs maybe he is, but if not then the double switch loses its purpose. All it does, in effect, is pre-announces the pinch-hitter.

What a great game. I had company. And I found out the main TV is getting a free preview of SNY. It's at least 3 pitches faster, sometimes minutes ahead of MLBtv. I don't think it's always that way. DUDA puts his power where Collins mouth is! Those were blasts. Lannan: UGH, guy, u suck. Surprisingly pleased with what I saw from Farnsworth. Mejia FTW! V FTS! I knew they'd win eventually. Good game. Duda is the man. Couldn't have been scripted better from that angle.
