Short story sale -- to Analog

My story, "Ulenge Prime," has been sold to Analog. If you read much SF, the magazine's name should be familiar. Analog is the oldest continuously published science fiction magazine, starting in 1930 under the name Astounding Science Fiction. The legendary John W. Campbell took over as editor in 1937; Campbell created modern science fiction (where the stories had to have a scientific background, which was essential to the story -- no cowboy stories in space). In the Golden Age of SF, Astounding published people like Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein (including his first story), Theodore Sturgeon (first sale), A. E. van Vogt, E. E. "Doc" Smith,* Lester del Rey, Henry Kuttner/C. L. Moore, Fritz Lieber, Jack Williamson, Hal Clement, Robert Silverberg, and many others. It was the top SF market during the 40s. The magazine lost its primacy in the 50s as new magazines popped up, but remained the bastion of hard SF and one of the most respected in the field, even after Campbell retired (the longest tenure of any SF editor). The list of notable authors who appeared in it is long and extremely impressive. And soon will include me. I'm overwhelmed, especially since I will have been published in the three current top markets in the field (including The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction and Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine. *Who violated Campbell's vision, but was too popular to ignore.

Congrats! I'd love to get published in ANY of those pubs, much less all 3. way to go.
