I just tried the "view unanswered posts" option. It seems to show all threads that were opened and never received any replies. I don't know what the point is.

Right, but that link showed all the forums so was easy to see "what's new". Most forums contain a similar thing. No idea why it stopped working. View unanswered posts should just be renamed "Don't leave 'em hanging!"

I suppose the point would be if this was a tech support message board or something where people were asking questions; don't want those to be ignored.
