Anyone have a special plans? Fourth on the Friday is best!
Hope Arthur doesn't do as he pleases and gets on out of
here by Friday afternoon and takes the humidity with him.

Have friends coming home this weekend for a local retirement/
moving away/holiday party.

Will watch 1=#0000FF]77=#0000FF]6 of course either Sat or Sun morning.

headed to a friends. barring rain. looks like best estimates have it as some passing storms early Friday.

Do I own a frisbee? I need to get a frisbee. Said friend's property abuts a huge field in Levittown.

If I time my departure right I may be able to check out the fireworks as I drive over the GWB.

I'm running a 5K on Governors Island the morning of the 4th. Will probably resemble a drowned rat by the end, but I'm still excited since I've never been on Governors Island before. Will probably catch my friend's fireworks show in the evening, weather permitting.

Have fun everybody!

Last I heard on the location of Arthur was somewhere 'between the moon and New York City'.
Admittedly that's not all that specific but I suspect future reports will get more exact as the storm moves so you can make your plans accordingly.

Ten mile race around Cazenovia Lake in the AM -- then a nap. Followed by AAA baseball and fireworks in the evening. Forecast for the day is looking quite temperate - highs in the mid 70's and down into the low 60's by the time the fireworks kick in.

WOOOOOO!!! Back in the saddle. Let us know if you need any dating advice (that is if Seo can't help you first, he's the King of All Dates).

We're trying to get invited onto a rooftop in our neighborhood. Willing to trade drinks & food for access.

Re: Happy 4th of July!

July 4 is as it always has been -- a family birthday party for my dad and sister, both of whom were born on the 4th. Then it's Keith Hernandez Bobblehead Night at the Cyclones (my first Cyclones game) Saturday night, with something Coney Island-related before that.

Re: Happy 4th of July!

My daughter and some friends are headed to Daytona for a NACSAR event tomorrow, then then they will head over to Tampa to begin a five day cruise to Cozumel and Grand Cayman Island. My son is in Durham taking in the Eno River Festival with his girlfriend.

That leaves me at home with my favorite girl. I will try to get a little work done around the house this morning. Then we are heading to a friend's house for a barbecue with 3-4 other couples. We will likely head over to another friends tomorrow afternoon for a day of jet skiing, boating, and fishing on the reservoir.

Arthur dumped a lot of rain in our area last night, but has cleared out and taken the heat and humidity with him for now. Should be a great weekend. I hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe holiday weekend.

D-Dad and I not only ran on Governors Island this morning, but we were lucky enough to avoid the expected rain! It was a nice start to the holiday.
