Herrera's fielding percentage

Do you suppose it's under .900? So far, he's committed about an error per game, so I imagine it's pretty bad, and will improve over the course his career (or else he ain't having much more of a career). Anyone know how many assists and putouts he's gotten so far?

He's punching along at a Hobsonian .880, thank you very much.

Some day we'll look back at this stat and laugh.

I'd say the odds of him continuing to field at a sub-.900 clip are about the same as him continuing his over 1.000 OPS (currently 1092)

Re: Herrera's fielding percentage

History hasn't given us a lot of second basemen with 1.000+ OPSes, but it's given us far fewer ones with sum-.900 fielding percentages.
