Rutgers travels to Century Link field to play Wash St in Seattle . RU gets a $300,000 fee for the trip.

Wash St. threw over 700 passes last season so it clear what Leach will do..

RU? The over under on Nova int's is 2 1/2...

Rutgers in the Big Ten = I get the Big Ten Network as part of my basic cable package instead of having to pay extra.
That alone makes having them in the conference worth it.

Wisconsin seems the obvious pick for the Big Ten west division. The East division is a bit harder to predict. Sparty usually manages to screw up a big same somewhere along the line but I'd pick them over OSU to win the East.

Ohio St. Michigan and Sparty flop.

Notre Dame & BYU looked very very good.

UConn nipped Stony Brook. Looks like a long year for UConn in the AAC..

Rutgers and Penn St. renew hostilities this weekend in PSU's first ever trip to the banks.

I'm calling an RU victory on the last play of the game and a suburban riot.

They are likely sacrificing size for speed.

When Schiano came to RU he recruited the fastest people for defense and they tended to be smaller. The upside was they moved very well laterally and were often able prevent teams from running effectively outside the tackles.

Then again, Oregon is one unique cat.

Yeah, that didn't turn out the way we'd hoped at all. Not dusted, necessarily, but our offense, after having the best first half we'd had all season, did nothing in the second half and they just chipped their way back.

The University of Central Florida Knights just lost the Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl.

Good, he said with requisite spite.

TAMPA — For the fourth straight season, the University of South Florida football program will not qualify for a bowl game. But the Bulls (4-7, 3-4 American Athletic Conference) aren’t exactly playing out the string.

It’s rivalry week. The regular-season finale is automatically special.

When the University of Central Florida Knights (7-3, 5-1) arrive for Friday afternoon’s game at Raymond James Stadium, the Bulls hope to be spoilers. That would be satisfaction enough. And you have to love USF’s spirited approach. All normal attempts at game-week decorum have been dismissed.

“You want to come into interviews and be politically correct and praise the other team (but) there’s just a natural hate,’’ Bulls senior defensive tackle Todd Chandler said. “We really don’t like those guys. You’re born to hate UCF and you inherit that hate once you sign that letter of intent to South Florida.’’

“I wouldn’t say hate,’’ Bulls coach Willie Taggart said. “But I would say dislike.’’
