Vote early and often today!!!

For those of you who live in NY (and a few other places, but very few) today is the final primary day until the general election, in case you forgot. I just went to vote for Zephyr Teachout and Tim Wu, and I'd appreciate it if you'd consider doing likewise. I would love to see her win because I think she's a great candidate and a very smart and able lady whose positions I support up and down the line, but even if you don't agree, I urge you to vote for her anyway and send Andrew Cuomo the message that we all oppose corruption, special favors and a lack of transparency in government. Cuomo will probably win (I'm still hoping for an upset) but the more of us who vote for Teachout send him that important message.

The all important Trachsel My Tears endorsement does it: Teachout/Wu all the way.

And in early breaking exit polls, Teachout/Wu leads in Brooklyn by a single vote, thanks to the Sharpie effect.

Zephyr Teachout followed me on Twitter the other day before I realized that the name Zephyr Teachout is a person's name and a political candidate.

Zephyr Teachout couldn't be bothered to follow me on Twitter but I voted for her anyway.

Cuomo sweeping the south and the west of the state, and Heaven knows, you only need the south. Cruising to a 27-point victory.

Andrew certainly knows that seeing as how his father once won one of his gubernatorial elections (the 2nd of his 3 I believe) while winning just five of NYS's 64(?) counties.
But he won the biggies (Queens, Kings, New York, Bronx, & Albany) and he won 'em big.

Re: Vote early and often today!!!

Last week, my wife got a call:

Caller: I'm representing Zephyr Teachout and am looking for your husband's* support.
Wife: My husband plans on voting for her.
Caller (in surprise): Really?

*Probably took my name from the voter list, though my wife should have been there, too.
