I miss trading cards...

I don't think they've been given out since, probably the 2006 Topps 1986 pack.

I am hoping the fedora is a "faux" Karl Ehrhardt. Me want.

The shirt selection constitutes a significant aesthetic upgrade.

So what if deGrom decides to go with a buzz-cut in Spring Training? What do they do with the Garden Gnome then?

That one should be for kids. For the parents of those kids there'll be a Bartolo Colon growth chart night.

Much as is the case with some TV actresses, the team is going to have a clause put in deGrom's contract giving them a say in all his hair styling decisions lest it affect any future marketing campaigns.

I've got some sort of SNY trading cards from 2009 i think, and there was a 1973 pack in 2013 wasn't there?

Re: Mets 2015 Promotional Schedule

It's one of the our best moments from the last season.

Edgewife: "Are you ready to go, yet?"

Edgy MD: "One more out."

She walks over to the monitor to watch with me.

Gary Cohen: "Mejia needs one more pitch to finish the job here. Met fans at the edge of their seats, clinging tightly to their garden gnomes."

I want a Mets fedora. Also, May 16th..think that's warm enough for a 9 month old's first Mets game ever?

Brother, I strapped YoungerPooper to my chest for a May 11th day game... the day she turned two months old. Weather/club tickets* permitting, you should be fine.

We'll almost certainly be down for a Free Shirt Friday or two this turn around.

Re: Mets 2015 Promotional Schedule

I took my 7-month old son to Opening Day in early April when it was 40 degrees and drizzling. If they want to be Met fans, they need to learn to survive adversity at an early age.

Re: Mets 2015 Promotional Schedule

Not specifically a NYM promotional day because it's a stand-alone concert rather than an after-game deal, but Foo Fighters will be at CitiField July 16
That's the final day of the AS break and the Mets are on the road for the first week back anyway.

The Foo Fighters concert is not a promotion. It's a separately ticketed event.

That explains how they got a band that people would otherwise pay to see.

"People always tell me, 'You know, if this baseball thing doesn't work out, you can move to Vegas'."

That's, um, not a little foreboding, considering that's exactly where failed Mets end up moving.

Rotundas. Never heard of them.
How can The Steve Miller Band not be in the Rock n Roll

They'll get their due eventually, but the panel needs to realize that time keeps on slipping into the future.
