Documentary about a years-long quest (obsession?) by a non-artistic inventor to research and then re-create a Johannes Vermeer painting — specifically ‘The Music Lesson’ — with the help of a lens and mirror contraption similar to one some believe the 17th century Dutch painter may have used.
