Re: Happy Tom Seaver Day!

With every task I complete, I stand up in my cubicle, bow to my neighbor, rotate 15 degrees, bow again, and continue until I've bowed to the entire unit.

I'm going to smear dirt on my right knee, then make love to Nancy.

I was going to hunker down in a fox hole and go a full
nine with Nancy but JCL found her first.

Nice story in the New York Post:

[url]http://nypost.com/2014/11/16/terrific-for-new-york-how-tom-seaver-lifted-up-the-city/

"The fact was that Tom Terrific, by standing for excellence, lifted the spirits of New York when the city needed it most, the anarchic late 1960s, when Gotham was deteriorating into what historian Vincent Cannato, in his biography of Mayor John Lindsay, called 'The Ungovernable City.'"

Holy hell-- all day, I've been trying to figure out why I had a seizure this morning when somebody said "pitch counts."

Re: Happy Tom Seaver Day!

I celebrated Seaver Day by putting on my circa 1970 41 T-shirt this morning in Melbourne, Australia and celebrating Mr. Seaver's birthday is as many time zones as I could muster before arriving back home this evening.

Happy Birthday to The Franchise!
