science is cool

so, not only do we have robots driving around on mars, sending back all kinds of cool info and taking pictures and stuff, but we've (meaning humanity) just landed a robot on a freaking comet. a comet! a 4-mile wide chunk of rock and ice and dust and stuff, leftover from the formation of our own solar system several billions of years ago. and there's a little landing craft on there, doing science!

I clicked on a fb trending link, her ass is bigger than anything in orbit up there. Maybe NASA can back burner the hover thing and land something on her to one up the Europeans.
