Mild Dilemma thread

THis is the third day in a row I've been at my granddaughter's (Tuesdays and Thursdays) watching it snow and wondering why the hell they had school. Since my daughter's late getting home, I haven't been able to stop at the Amish Woodcrafts place down the road to shop for my husband (he wants a spice rack). They close at five because they only have gas lights and they aren't very bright.
Needless to say they have no web page.

I don't think my husband is having much of a Christmas; can't get to the store :)

Please, somebody else MUST have a mild dilemma...

I've been working in a version of the same computer system at work for many years and every 3 months need to change passwords. So I figured out a method that I would use which works for me. Incredibly simple and I can always remember it. Now I'm told that next year I'm going to have to use longer passwords with capital letters, numbers, symbols, etc.

My wife just kept upticking a number attached to the end of her password HerPassword1, herPassword2..

her dilemma came last week when she returned to work after 4 months off. was it HerPassword 56? or 53? would she be locked out for not having already reset it?

(she got it on the second or third try I think)

I can't decide on the Double IPA or the Imperial Stout for tonight.

I've got an espagnole I made for a cooking class, and burgundy wine, but I don't have any shallots or beef for beef bourguignon (or anything else that will go with an espagnole-based sauce, really), and the one half-decent meat purveyor near us just closed. What am I going to do with all this espagnole, people?

My feet are cold. I don't own slippers and all of my shoes in the house are either wet with snow or uncomfortable.

Our place is drafty AND has sweltering, industrial-level heating. So either we freeze a little, or sweat a lot.

Drove up yesterday; they did not have spice racks anyway.

I am having all kinds of typing problems this morning because my fingernails need to be trimmed.

With everyone in the family off today, we all woke up late; we're a little more than a little hungry. But we also have an early family lunch party to attend, in about 80 minutes.
