The Biggest Victorino - 2015 Edition

Jan 02 2015 08:45 AM

I'm starting out the year at 125 - one pound above my Weight Watchers goal weight, and about three or four pounds above where I'd ideally like to be.

OTOH, it was the 70th consecutive month that I weighed in within two pounds of goal weight, so I'm pleased with that.

Re: The Biggest Victorino - 2015 Edition

My goal is to lose more weight than my daughter gains. it's a small goal (what's a child gain in months 5-17? 15 pounds?), but whatever.

Re: The Biggest Victorino - 2015 Edition

Tipped in this morning at a steady 151.4 lbs. I'd prefer to be in the 149-150 range but this is fine. December is a rough month for people watching their weight and I will soon be purging my home and work desk of all the chocolates that have piled up.

Re: The Biggest Victorino - 2015 Edition

125.2. Two tenths of a pound in the wrong direction, but still within two pounds of my goal weight. That makes it 71 consecutive months of good weigh-ins.

February will have challenges, including the Super Bowl, Valentine's Day and my son's birthday. Hopefully I'll balance that out over the rest of the months so that this time next month I'll be able to say that I've had six consecutive years of good monthly weigh-ins. For those of you who have known me since before that time, you know that is not a small thing!

Hanging tough also, 151.6 lbs as of this morning. Winter is tough as I don't sweat as much out on my runs as I do in the summer months.

Re: The Biggest Victorino - 2015 Edition

forgot to weigh in at the beginning of hte year, but it was around 210 or so. probably over.

right now, i'm at 205. credit the flu. also, i think i'm cutting down on my dinner portions, as the twins are taking more and more of my damned food. little jerks!

Re: The Biggest Victorino - 2015 Edition

125. Exactly where I was at the start of the year. I'd still like to drop 2-3 pounds, but for now I'm just happy with the fact that I've been within two pounds of goal weight for 72 consecutive months. Six years is not a small number, and I'm grateful for having been able to maintain a healthy weight for that length of time.

Back to 125.2 this month. But considering what the scale said a week or two ago, I'll take it.

One day I'll get that wiggle room back on the scale....

Re: The Biggest Victorino - 2015 Edition

124.4. .2 of a pound in the wrong direction, but that still gives me 76 consecutive months of weighing in within two pounds of goal.

Is anyone else really interested in this thread? Or shall it go the way of the Schafer voting?

Re: The Biggest Victorino - 2015 Edition

Since I've managed to stay below 150 for a couple of weeks now, I'll play along with you metfairy :)

I will say 148 on August 1. My goal is 125 to 130, but one step at a time, I guess!

Re: The Biggest Victorino - 2015 Edition

Nice job ladies. I am my normal steady self, 151.2 this morning. It's easier for me to maintain my weight in summer because I sweat so much more when running due to the temperatures.

One step at a time indeed cooby!

124.6 this month. .2 of a pound in the wrong direction. But I had a more difficult month with the scale than I anticipated, and was happy to still be within two pounds of my official Weight Watchers goal (that's 77 consecutive months, for those of you keeping score at home).

125.2. Higher than I'd like, but still within two pounds of my Weight Watchers goal. Considering the percentage of food I ate in August in ballparks, I'll take it.

And for the 7th consecutive year I have earned a key for my Weight Watchers Lifetime Membership key ring. Each calendar year a member has ten weigh-ins within two pounds of goal, he/she earns a new key. I have one of these little keys for every year since 2009 -

Culinary school/physical work hasn't been too kind to my eating and fitness routines. Looking to remedy a bit of that starting now, but am starting from a bit above playing weight, at a bloaty 187. (Ten pounds less, with a little more tone, would be much more livable.)

One day we have to have you cook at a tailgate party (not good for the diet, but wouldn't that be cool?).

124.8. My 80th consecutive month where I've weighed in within two pounds of my goal weight.

That all might go to Hell today during our final Mets tailgate party of the season, but my forbearance during the previous two tailgates paid off this morning.
