xIGT, 3/5, Nats @ Mets

This has something of the feel of a burlesque of opening day, with the traveling Mets meeting the host Nats — who are, in fact, opening their spring schedule. Unfortunately, from that perspective, the Nats are going with an A- lineup and the busing Mets are bringing Bartolo and a C+ unit to back him. Let's beat them soundly and efficiently. I used to hate the Braves when they were good. I used to hate the Phillies when they were good. While I don't quite hate them, my dislike for the Nats has grown over the past few years as they have gotten good. Man, I would love for the Mets to make life hard on these guys this season.

We missed some nice action here. Mets up 4-3 in the sixth. Campbell and Maybone have gone deep.

Mazzoni serves one up to AAAA masher Kila Ka'aihue and the Mets are down by one. First deficit of the year. Bottom of the seventh.
