You weren't looking for anything from him last season, were you? Well, you were WRONG! After kicking Las Vegas' ass to the tune of 33.1 innings over 30 games with a 2.16 ERA, he got a call from the boys in the big city. You know what he did for them? You oughta! He threw 31 more innings over 27 games, posting a 1.45 ERA. That's a bigger workload in terms outs/appearances than your standard ROOGy, isn't it? It is! The dude whiffed 28 and walked only five. And we're lucky enough to get him back on a minor-league deal? Whose lamp did we rub to get that wish to come true? I hate that shot. It looks so... Anthony Wiener. Anyhow, how do you think Carlyle will do in 2015? Come to think of it, how do you think Weiner will do?

I think I had a dog named Buddy. 4.50 era. Last season was a fluke.

They have already changed his uni number, from 44 to 43. Expecting his stats to also go down (that is, get worse) by 1 notch across the board. So, you know, a 2.45 ERA

more gaps in his major league timeline than you're average Atlanta Braves' fan's mouth, for whom he actually started for in 2007 despite a 5.21 ERA. 284 IP over 8 seasons over 15 years. Calling it a flash in the pan. 18 IP, 14 K, 5 BB, 6.82 ERA.

Is on the roster more of the season than not. Does a decent job, nothing to brag about. If you have a 12-man pitching staff, there will be times, and some of those times will matter, when you're relying on your 12th-best pitcher.
