Forecasts for Fifteen: John Mayberry, Jr.

JMJ signed with the Mets because he hoped to see more time than the Cardinals were offering him. Good chance he gets some of it, perhaps with Cuddyer bouncing to first against lefties, perhaps with Granderson catching some pine against 'em.

After Scott Hairston, Mets seem to be down with hiring legacies for their right-handed outfield reserve. How will this one do?

For every Hairston there's a Gary Matthews Jr. or an Eric Young Jr.

He'll be nothing special in limited playing time. 5/20/.245

Eh, 12-15 kaboomers... many of them occurring late in
games with no consequence.

I'd be thrilled to the gills with 12-15 punches out of Mayberry.
