Schilling vs. the Twitterverse

Curt Schilling tweets about his daughter, gets sexually explicit responses, and the gloves come off.

Not sure Daily News is helping the matter by including a selfie shot taken by said daughter. But, well, at least they didn't give the article to Bill Price.

He said he’s aware of nine trolls who lost their jobs or got kicked off athletic teams — “and we’re not done.”

Good for him and a good comeuppance for the idiots that thought it was OK to target his kid ...it's all fun and games until you do it to a person that fights back.

I can't imagine what this'll be like in another decade or so, after YoungerPooper goes all YoungPubescent.

I think what Shilling did here was...yea, I'm gonna say it, historical. I'm sick of people hiding behind their monitors or devices and not being held accountable for what they say on-line. What he did here will make many aware that there ARE consequences, so watch what you put out.

I met Shill a few times as a Phil and what I remember the most was him staying after games, signing autographs for fans, two of his children right by his side. I thought that was pretty kool.
