Niese appears to be throwing more sidearm-y than he used to. Exits minor threat (one out infield 1B, 1B) with a DP bouncer from Johnson. Jim Duqyuette and some other clown calling the game. Salt n Pepa Geico commercial hilarious.

Mayberry doubles down the line, 2-0. Former MFY "untouchable" prospect Manny Banuelos is pitching for ATL and appears to suck. d'Arnaud clubs a double over the CFs head as I type and it's 4-0.

Banuelos really sucks. 2 walks, 2 doubles, 2 wild pitches, a hard hit flyball out and a whiff on a generous call: 2/3 IP, 5ER. Avialan has come on and walked den Dekker, then gave up RBI single to Tejada. 10th man batting now.

Banuelos listed as eighth on their rotation depth chart at the Braves page. Other half of the Braves currently down 5-0 to the Tigers.

Flores' swing is something else. He knows how to get the bat on the ball. Interesting line of questioning Alexa had with Muffy ... potentially. She should have come right out and asked whether he expected to continue criticizing the team hitting approach of the Hudgens Era.

I don't even think he stepped into it. Very nice. Continue? I tuned in right at the end of that interview. Did he say something there?

Eh poorly worded. I was referring to Muffy getting called out for getting on teammates who in his mind were too passive but actually following Hudgens' philosophy.
