Forecasts for Fifteen: Hansel Robles

Dying for attention, I am. I'm Hansel Robles, and despite a name that sounds like I'm from the Antlilles or something, I'm just another Dominican. But I'm not JUST another Dominican. I threw 110 innings last season, bouncing between the rotation and the pen — 18 starts, 12 relief appearances — and I shamed not my people. Struck out 106, walked 43 and put up a 4.31 ERA. Some up and down in that stat line, you say? Well, it got me added to the Mets roster, so quit laughing. You Brooklynites may remember that I won a Sterling Award after going 6–1, 1.11 against NY–Penn League hitters for the Cyclones back in 2012. Yeah, that Hansel Robles. Yeah, I see you. You're sitting there like a dope, still trying to distinguish me from Gabriel Ynoa and Rainy Lara and los Luises Cessa y Hilario. You thought you were so smart, didn't you? Well, tell me what you see for me in 2015.

I don't have any photos, but he looked like absolute crap against the Red Sox last Sunday. There is no way that Hansel is going to be Major League ready this season, if ever.

No, let's cut him because his walk rate keeps climbing as he ostensibly matures/improves. I mean, he's 24, and I'm not sure he's improving much.

They need to trade for his sister Gretel... what a battery. Can't see much for him at the bigs level in 2015. Why did Bugs Bunny think Hansel was such an odd name?
