We have a battle of Kryptonians. Superman beat Superboy in Round One, 22-0. Supergirl, who beat Power Girl 6-5 sure hopes to fare better than that.

She arrive at the "right" Earth, though. I think that's how it goes. | Base of Operations: | Metropolis, DE | Base of Operations: | Argo City; Midvale Orphanage; San Francisco; Florida; New York City; Chicago | Teams/Affiliations: | Daily Planet, Galaxy Communications, Justice League, Legion of Super-Heroes | Teams/Affiliations: | Surprisingly few, for a character who has been around 65 years: Teen Titans, Legion of Super-Heroes, Justice League, Red Lantern Corps, Supermen of America | Signature Lines: | "Up, up, and AWAY!" | Signature Lines: | "Don't call me. Don't talk to me. Don't look at me... or I'll break every bone in your body." | Arch-Enemy: | Lex Luthor | Arch-Enemy: | Lesla-Lar | Sidekick(s): | Jimmy Olson kinda kicks around with him. More comic relief than help, but… | Sidekick(s): | None | Paramour(s): | Where to begin? Lana Lang, Lori Lemaris, Lois Lane (eventual wife), Wonder Woman (just has to happen, every decade or so), La Encantadora, Big Barda, Dana Dearden, Maxima, Luma Lynai, Chloe Sullivan, Lyla Lerrol, Lyra 3619, Zara, Lola-La, Loana, Cat Grant, Orella. Historically, your odds of a relationship with Superman are best if your initials are LL (Lex Luthor, you still have a chance), and really the important names to know here are mostly the first four. | Paramour(s): | Richard "Dick" Malverne, Jerro the merboy, Braniac 5, Geoffrey Anderson, Zarl Vorne/Power Boy | Has Been Played By: | Ray Middleton, Mayo Kaan, Karol Krauser, Fleischer Studios, Kirk Alyn, George Reeves, Johnny Rockwell, Bob Holiday, David Wilson, Jeff East, Christopher Reeve, John Haymes Newton, Gerard Christopher, Dean Cain, Tom Welling, Brandon Routh, Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill. (Some of those guys were more Superboy than Superman, but Superboy has been eliminated, and Clark is Clark.) | Once Played By: | Helen Slater, Laura Vandervoort, Melissa Benoist | Could Have Been Played By: | Josh Hartnett? Bert Convy? Rick Springfield? | Could Have Been Played By: | Jan Smithers | Song I Think Of: | "(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman" | Song I Think Of: | "That's Really Super, Supergirl" | Supernatural Powers: | Pretty much the template for all superpowers: Earth's yellow sun gives him super strength which is more than strong, super speed which is more than fast, invulnerability, and flight (which also allows him to hold his hands in front of him for extended periods). His game also includes heat vision, super hHaring, Enhanced Vision (x-ray, telescopic, microscopic, electromagnetic), Flight, Invulnerability, super stamina, (needs, however, to eat, drink, and sleep), superhuman reflexes, and super breath (can knock you over or freeze you up). He is the embodiment of "power creep," in that once upon a time, he could lift a car, and eventually could lift a continent. Once he was faster than a speeding bullet, but eventually was faster than light. Like that. | Supernatural Powers: | Pretty much the same deal. | Non-Super Abilities: | He's a crack reporter, and is good to his mom. Has an unambiguous moral compass. | Non-Super Abilities: | Has worked as an actress, televison reporter, and student counselor. | Stuff: | Got a fortress of solitude that is the envy of most of the other Justice Leaguers. | Stuff: | Not really. | Weaknesses: | The element kryptonite weakens him unitl it makes him no stronger than the rest of us, and then it keeps working. He hates it. Also, he can't see through lead. Bummer. | Weaknesses: | Also kryptonite, magic, and psionic vulnerability. While she has appeared at times to be more powerful than Superman, Kal will calmly explain that he has spent a lifetime trying to repress his abilities, while his younger cousin is… irrepressible. |
