This is the second of our two Rogue matchups in Round Two. If Rogue beats both, she advances. If one of these two challengers, beats, her, that challenger naturally advances.
But if two — if somehow BOTH — of her opponents beats her, whoever beats her more decisively advances.
You wanted drama, YOU GOT DRAMA!!

Rebelling against this autority during puberty, she got all kissy with a boy and drove him into a coma, discovering her mutant ability to absorb life-engery, psyche, and mutant powers from anybody she touches. She was raised to be evil by Mystique (who does that sort of thing), but reformed and joined the X-Men. | Base of Operations: | Manhattan, Los Angeles, Australian Outback (with late-80's X-Men) | Base of Operations: | Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, Salem Center, Westchester, NY; formerly Avengers Mansion, New York City, NY; Utopia, San Francisco Bay, CA; Valle Soleada, CA; Muir Island, Scotland, UK; Cooterman's Creek, Australian Outback, Australia; Alcatraz Island, San Francisco Bay, CA | Teams/Affiliations: | X-Men, Gladiators, New Excalibur, S.H.I.E.L.D. | Teams/Affiliations: | X-Men (Jean Grey School member), Avengers Unity Division (leader); formerly Salvagers, Lights (liaison), Advocates Squad, X-Treme X-Men, X.S.E., Brotherhood of Evil Mutants | Signature Lines: | "Listen. She is immune from sound and light weapons and currently has some sort of resurrection power. It can't last, but it's protecting her for the time being from conventional forms of death. | Supernatural Powers: | Rogue can absorb the powers, energies, memories, knowledge, talents, personality and physical abilities (whether superhuman or not) of another human being (or members of some sentient alien races) through physical contact of her skin with the skin of the other person. This transfer is usually temporary, lasting for a period of time relative to how long contact is maintained, but the transfer may become permanent in certain cases. For example, she absorbed Ms. Marvel's powers permanently. This power can be lethal.
As she has carried Ms. Marvel with her much of her story, this generally gives her super strength, invulnerability and flight at her disposal." | Non-Super Abilities: | Abnormally skillled singer, dancer, rollerskater. With the X-Men, she has become a good athlete and combatant. | Non-Super Abilities: | She doesn't need too many, but she can drive a bike. | Stuff: | Originally Dazzler used to carry a customized radio cassette tape-player to provide her with continuous sound until she gained a special costume that stores sound. She started her career operating on roller skates, which magnetically attached to her boots. | Stuff: | She's got a bike and a leather jacket. | Weaknesses: | In a sound-free environment, she has no fuel to turn into fire. Also, she's flesh and blood. | Weaknesses: | Absorbing all these parts of the personalities of others can be confusing and disorienting, and Ann Marie never had a stable personality to begin with. Also, for most of her story, she has no control of her power, leaving her unable to touch anybody without putting the whammy on them. This leads to a heightened alienation and intense frustration at being horny but unable to so much as kiss anybody without them instantly blacking out (at least!). |
