Surprised MLB doesn't market today as Superfluous Exhibition Saturday, brought to you by whatever sponsor helps you get rid of whatever you don't need (also brought to you by an insurance company, helping you in case somebody you didn't see getting hurt gets hurt).

Wilmer coughs up a run with a throw in the dirt.

Seriously! Why bother schlepping them to a different time zone for the weekend if they're not going to make the games available (I don't consider the midnight delayed broadcast on the MLB Network to count)?

John Mayberry falling asleep on the base paths. Ouch.

TMF is right. This is typical Mets--a chance for self-promotion and good-will but they are too damn cheap to send a crew to an out-of-town stadium. The players should have been sent home to "see" their wives and girlfriends and pack instead of schlepping to Texas. Oh wait: the Wilpons likely got a piece of the gate from the Rangers so it makes it all worthwhile.

Ugh Muno. That's two! The one earlier off his glove @ 2nd was an error in my book as well, somehow scored a single. Both, grounders right to him.

Gah! We are playing like the Rangers were yesterday.

Except now we've got two outs in the ninth and bases loaded, bringing Anthony Recker up as the tying run, facing a lefty.

Ends in a tie. Yay for the 4 runs in the 9th! BOOOOO for the tie.

Not for nothing but pulling a tie out of our butts with 0 on, 2 out, down 4, in the 9th, on the road, in the last game of spring training, is a pretty good sign we're not taking shit from nobody in 2015. The force is strong with this group.

That wasn't even such a bad pitch to Recker. The catcher set up away and it was over the outside corner. The first pitch had been a slider away, and Recker must've been looking there because he reached out and pulled it.
