Forecasts for Fifteeen: Jerry Blevins

Things don't always turn out exactly like you planned. I mean, I planned to be at National's park on Opening Day, but not at the locker I think I'm going to be at. Isn't life funny that way?

You know what isn't funny? A hunnert and eighty-five pounds on a six-six frame. That's an ectomorph. That's what I am, and what I am is Jerry F. Blevins.

You know what may actually be funny? You predicting my 2015 season. I dare ya'.

"Everyday Jerry" has a ring to it, I suppose.

71 G, 62 IP, 3.30 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, 60 K/21 BB, 3 HR allowed

I forecast that I will refer to him as Jeremy (because that's what I thought his name actually was) until at least mid season.

I also thought his name was Jeremy.

Thing is that there was a Jeremy Blevins, a Yankee relief prospect who peaked at Columbus back in the Bobby Valentine era.

Ya can't spell B-E-L-I-E-V-I-N' without B-L-E-V-I-N. Leave off the 'S' for Savings.

3-4, 60 appearances, 51.67 IP, 50 K, 22 BB, 4 HR (and all of them lead to a Met/Jerry loss), 2.33 ERA

Gets the freaky save on Opening Day, after that
I have no idea.
