Johnny Carson?

When I think of Indiana, I think of Bobby Knight.

(Yeah, I know, I know. Stupid law that I hope will come back to bite them in the economy)

When I think of Indiana I think first of David Letterman. Second: Leslie Knope.

Things I Think About When I Think About Indiana

[list=1][*]The Cathedral of Speed. I have no love for auto racing, but that's a dramatic name for a track.

[*]How Indianapolis was the largest US city not on a major body of water or river until Arizona had to go and get all irrigated.

[/*:m]
[*]Garfield

[*]Namesake of the most heroic — and yet, somehow, the very worst — big screen archeologist.

Re: Indiana

The state we drive through on the way to visit my mother-in-law in Illinois.

The Welcome Center at Christmas has a huge "A Christmas Story" display. It also had a huge museum dedicated to gangsters. The gift shop sold photos of Dillinger's bullet-riddled body next to miniature leg laps and Ralphie action figures.

I wish I was kidding.
