Rubin tweeted last night that Logan Verrett actually first to reach the majors, although not with the Mets. As a Rule 5 pick/waiver claim.

Whoa, Montero sent down. Maybe to stretch out again to take over Gee role? Howie was saying the other night that Terry was mad at Montero for not throwing enough off-speed stuff in Atlanta.

Montero is a starter, and I believe the Mets are messing him up by putting him in the pen. Perhaps he'll go back to starting in Vegas.
