Mets as superheroes

Since we seem to have given up on the Superhero contest of champions, here's something:

http://www.amazinavenue.com/2015/4/22/8 ... -2015-mets

This writer proposes the following superhero alter-egos:

Matt Harvey = Batman
David Wright = Captain America
Juan Lagares = Spider-man
Syndegaard = Thor
Kirk Nieuwenhuis = Wolverine
Duda = Hulk
Flores = Green Lantern

Others?

Re: Mets as superheroes

YES TO:
Harvey = Batman
Wright = Captain America

BUT:
Flores = Cyborg (a teen titan that moves mechanically)
Duda = Concrete (genial, slow-moving giant)
Legares = Nova (he covers more ground than Spidey)

AND:
Recker = The Tick (huge chin)
D'Arnaud = Gambit (French names)
Colon = Matter-Eater Lad (ehem)
Famiglia = Superman (the most saves)
Gee = Robin (a sidekick at best)
Murphy = GL/Guy Gardner (a-hole)
Granderson = Flash/Jay Garrick (used to be fast)
Tejada = Jarvis (doesn't do much but clean up aftewards)
deGrom = Doc Samson (long locks + power)
Cuddyer = Luke Cage (Hero for Hire)

For Duda, I agree that Concrete is a better choice than Hulk.
