Dave Laroche — not a lot of Metly connection there, outside of coaching the Cyclones.

Hard to read the names on 1/3 of the cards.

There should be a card for the black cat.

Pretty sure he was on a mid-1990s coaching staff... OE: I mean two early 1990s season staffs! ;) 1992-1993 [url]http://ultimatemets.com/profile.php?PlayerCode=6605

I get the Metly connection, the VERY Metly connection, but I don't think Ralph Kiner ever wore a Mets uniform.

I had no idea Ashburn played for the Cubs!

Off-brand card manufacturer spelled Schulze wrong.

Who's the guy between Ken Henderson and '81 Kingman? Appears to be an infielder of recent vintage, but name is obscured by COMC watermark.

Steve also got me by recalling Dave LaRoche as the 1992–1993 bullpen coach. Lots of bullpen coach knowledge going around.

The extras on the multi-player cards don't count as interlopers because, for the most part, they're there by necessity. Without including Dowling, for example. I wouldn't have been able to post a Connors card. [fimg=213]http://images.checkoutmycards.com/original/9f47e74a-d1a4-41c4-8174-99b2b1a9f1e0.jpg[/fimg] It's not a perfect rule. Gorman Thomas doesn't have to be in the OP because there are numerous solo Kingman Cub cards. But the rule's good enough. Besides, I identified just one interloper, so that alone should rule out anyone appearing on a multi-player card. [fimg=213]http://images.checkoutmycards.com/original/9aebea4d-6d03-4161-8980-1ba6d0fa2b21.jpg[/fimg] I've also included coaches, to spice up this feature. Fittingly, I started the trend with the Cubs. You might say that this is my Cubs collage of coaches. So who's the interloper? Opinions might vary, but I'd say it's Phantom Met Randy Bobb, who made the 25 man roster, and suited up for the Mets, and sat in their dugout, and hoped to get in a game. But because he never did, Bobb's not considered a Met. I'd quibble with that historical interpretation. But that's for another day. Butterball Bobb, including the tarp, Clendenon Field, and a newly discovered fence entranceway.
