Quiz in Honor of Yogi's 90th.

Seven players played the catcher position for both the Mets and Yanks. One guess per post. No two in a row guessing.

Extra credit. Identify the only player who played for both the Mets and Yanks and played the catcher postion for one, but not both teams. Please indicate whether you are trying to identify the extra credit player.

I want to say Orlando Mercado, but I know that's wrong. Another Latin backup catchery-type from that same era is on this list, and I can't think who it is.

Trevino played for every team in the original NL West other than the Padres. He played for the Mets twice. But never for the Yankees.
