Ace of the staff so far this season?

For my money, he's been every bit as good as Harvelous (which is not knocking what Matt has been doing in any way).

His last few starts have been works of art.

I think it's a matter of arguing which suit is trump with the Mets aces.

He had a few missteps earlier and Harvey just hit his.

Do we need to come up with a Super Hero for him? I mean, it's the Dark Knight, Thor, and...

Yeah, let's try harder than that.

[list]I call him The Long Night, because it's always a long night for the opposition when he pitches.

I call him Big Labor because he's always throwing strikes.

I call him White Castle because of his endless supply of sliders.[/list:u]
Yeah, they all suck. But come on. Something — anything — besides a superhero.

Maybe it's just the lighting, but that garden gnome looks a little, ahem, excited.

Excitable Garden Gnome!!!

Since Kirk is no longer here, can we re-use Dutch Treat?

Front page article in the New York Times: Syria? Gaza? DRC?

Nope. "Jacob deGrom, a Met Known for His Hair, May (Gasp!) Cut It."
