It was suggested earlier as a a way that we may discuss multiple topics in the book simultaneously, with vigor. Or vigour, in duan's case.

Also this may be the lamest book-discussion group ever. Did no one do his or her homework? Supposedly, we've been discussing this book for almost two weeks now, and what we've said would take about a minute and a half to say in real life. Are you all LOOKING to flunk this course?

I've been thinking the same thing. I'm glad I didn't make a special effort to read the book; I had already planned to read it when I did before the book club decision was made.
