Whatever happened to Apropos of Nothing?

I was surprised to see today that Benny Ayala was still active in the major leagues in 1985.

To me, 1985 is Gooden and Strawberry and Hernandez and Carter. Strange that Benny Ayala, a relic of the past, was still on a baseball card that year.

You're right... that thread is totally gone. Weird.

Maybe because it wasn't apropos of anything?

I think someone deleted it by accident. On Saturday, if you deleted a post
in a thread it seemed to take whole threads with it. Bizzare.

I won't rat out the poster that did it, but she's very sorry ;-).

48 pages of "apropos of nothing" is here on the first screen. Yancy's having a bad day, he can't find a thread and he makes Pedro Astacio into Mike Stanton.

Lol, I guess she deleted a different thread.

Senility is setting in.

No, I can't find the AoN thread either.

I'm still not seeing it.

I wonder which of us is crazy. Am I not seeing things that are there, or are you seeing things that aren't there?

Oh, and you'd be having a bad day too if Mookie Wilson was perched on your head.

I'd rather have Mookie Wilson on my head than be Mike Stanton when I'm all primed to be Pedro Astacio.
