Dammit!!

I'm not using my usual PC, but rather one out of the office. I got to the page, logged on and typed a long response in a thread. When I was done, I hit reply, and was jumped to a screen that asked me to log in again. When I did, my post was lost, and I couldn't get back to it using the back button. If we're logged, we're logged in. Right? Obviously not. Later

I've made a habit of copying my posts (especially if I have the "post a reply" screen open for more than a half minute or so) to the windows clipboard be- cause I'd say at least 50% of the time I have to re-log on. I know it's frustrating, but I don't know a solution.

Also, if you hit the back button instead of signing on, the post is usually still there in the "post a reply" box and you can copy it if you forgot to and then re-log on. .

I use to get logged off frequently, but now I very rarely encounter that problem. At the suggestion of a friend (cooby), I started checking the little box (about logging on automatically) that appears under your password on the log on screen. That seems to have solved the problem. I virtually never get logged off or lose a post since I started doing this. Sometimes, I wonder what we would do without cooby at the CPF.

Cooby, I've met KC. (in fact he's the only person from the CPF I have knowingly met) Does this mean I've met you too? This is scary. I'm so ashamed. I wasn't even wearing my Woolrich stuff. It was a hot July day. I hope you'll understand. I need to call my therapist. You did this to me. I'll send you the bill. Later
