Hey, It's Brandon Brosher.

Brandon hasn't yet gotten out of the short season leagues, but he had a game of a lifetime today, DH-ing for Brooklyn. He grand-slammed in the first inning and finished with seven RBI.

Brosher, who is aligned to catching and outfielding when he's not broshing the ball all over the ballpark, missed all but seven games last year. But what a seven games, going .387 / .424 / .774 // 1.198, hitting four homers in the homer-stingey Appalachian league.

Not bad for a 36th-round pick from 2013. Mine.

Re: Hey, It's Brandon Brosher.

The Clones were down 4-1 in the eighth before Brandon Brosher broshed a three-run shot before Brooklyn ended up walking off in the ninth over Vermont.

Brandon is slumping like a Met though, hitting .214 along with an otherwise healthy .320 OBP and .320 and .500 slugging percentage. You get those sorts of weird disparities 15 games into your season.

Know who's not slumping? Vinny Siena. Somebody adopt that guy.

Unless and until an opening happens above him, Brandon looks to return to Columbia in 2018, where he OPS'd .779 last season.

I think he'll debut at St. Lucie at least, though. I mean, Jeff Glenn always goes down with something. He's got the bat to advance, man. And at 6'2" / 237, he's got the frame to match the game.

He's a brut. Is he still catching?

Re: Hey, It's Brandon Brosher.

He played 34 games at catcher in 2017, 12 at first, one (but 11 2/3 innings?!) at third, and one bold inning as a pitcher.

Brandon has had a LOT of freakish injures that have delayed the full launch of his awesomeness upon America.
