Ya Gotta Have Heart!

Who's going to Saturday night's game?

D-Dad grew up in the Pacific Northwest in the 1970's - there's no way that he'd miss seeing Heart's post-game concert.

Digging deeper into the 70's and seeing
Deep Purple in a small suburban theatre
up here.

I realized only recently that DREAMBOAT ANNIE ('Magic Man and 'Crazy On You') was Heart's debut album.

That's a good rookie season for them! I don;t think they're a band that you know, kept getting better.

Die-hard Heart fans would probably disagree, but I didn't mind their keyboards-and-ballads phase in the mid-80s.

Rats!
I'll be out of town and won't be able to go.
Enjoy them for me, DD and MF.

Try to understand.
Try to understand.
They're a magic band.

It was impossible to top the fun of last night's 15-2 victory, but the Heart concert was the icing on the cake. They played a solid set, and Ann Wilson is still in great voice. It was a great way to top off the evening.
