Wright moves

The way I'd be tempted to play it is to make a first base platoon out of Murphy (who's playing great over there) and Uribe (who's only played a handful of games at first). Uribe can continue to get spot starts at third.

Then it's a three-man/two-position platoon at second and short, with Tejada against lefties and Johnson against righties (unless/until Terry gives up on Johnson) and Flores swinging back and forth. Similar to the way they're playing center and left as a virtual platoon between Lagares and Conforto.

In right, Cuddy can take at-bats from Grandy against lefties.

I don't think Terry's going to go for the last one, and he probably won't play Uribe at first, but it's a system that gets everybody work and gets the best match ups.

How good are we expecting Wright to be at this point?

fucking awesome, he's David Wright.

He's gonna be better than Uribe anyway.

I hope he comes back and picks up right where he left off.

Am I crazy to consider this? With Duda out and Cuddy not delivering any long balls, could we use Wright at first base?

Why move him, and play Murphy at third, when it's the same effect on your lineup to play the experienced Murphy at first?

Late seeing this. I wasn't considering Muffy for third base. The best place to hide him is at second (and I'd want him in there), although he has been fine at first. If Wright gets any relief at third I expect it to be Uribe.

Hows this look? Is it accurate--should I rephrase the caption? Longest standing....? Should I include a pic of Nettles on the Skanks?

I'm not sure, if you're using the same personnel, you want to put the one you want to "hide" at second.
