Speaking of which, this might be a White Whale on the level of Orosco in his debut uniform, but I've been trying to find photo evidence of Duke Snider in his original #11. Since Mets did not wear uni numbers on the front in 1963, one would need a shot of Duke from behind to show his original Met uni number. And I can't seem to find one on a quick Google Image search.

That's most likely a product of the photographer using a wide angle lens, probably 24mm or 28mm in Ed's picture, thereby exaggerating the size of anything closer to the camera.

Here's an example of what different focal lengths can do to a portrait. While the model's head and shoulders are roughly the same size in every photo, look at how the focal length emphasizes or de-emphasizes the size of her nose:

I wonder if that happened when I boosted the saturation.

I'll be vacationing in a secluded cabin in the woods for the next two nights...which makes me pretty sure the Mets will clinch while I am gone.

I'm hoping for an ounce of data coverage up there so I can tune in via iPad on Saturday afternoon. I'm hoping even more that I return here on Sunday celebrating a division champion.
