Mets Beard?

What do you guys say? Are we giving up shaving for this or not? I didn't consider it until after I'd had a good shave last night but I'm up for it if y'all are.

I thought this was going to be a thread about Mike Piazza's wife! I already have a beard. I guess I could pass on trimming mine, but I don't think I'll do that. Instead, I'm just going to walk around singing Meet the Mets at the top of my lungs all day.

Thanks to genetic limitation, I can only really go Metstache. Which, frankly, is more Metly, I think.

I began mine on October 1. I have grown a weak beard between 10/1 and 4/1 the past few years, but this is the first time I will be calling it a "Playoff Beard".

I shaved last night, so, technically, I can just stop shaving today and call it a playoff beard. I get a good 3-4 weeks in before Fwife vetoes the beard.

Back when the WWF was cool (because my friends and I watched it) one of my buds used to call paid losers jabronis. I never gave it a second thought and figured he made up a word. Son of a bitch, it's a real word and means just that in addition to other slang things.

She's a facebook friend of mine. I don't think she does. It's funny, I couldn't remember her name for years and years, then suddenly I realized my next door neighbor's mom's name is the same and it popped into my head.

I had to think about her last name (or at least the one she used with us) until it came to me. You have good security on your fb page, I can only see our mutual friends. On most of my other fb friend's pages I can see all their friends.

No beard for me. I had one many years ago (my co-workers urged me to cover up as much of my face as possible). But MMYF says she doesn't like me to wear one. So I won't wear one. Later
