I wonder what anyone named "Bud Miller" might think of this. There must be at least a few people with that name.

preliminary reports I've heard has SABMiller having to sell a lot of their US holdings to a separate company for monopoly reasons.

This is another deal forced upon gigantic companies by South American investors 3G Capital, who earlier this year arranged a marriage of Heinz and Kraft. Has nothing to do with innovation, everything to do with cutting costs and competition to win a new generation of alcoholics.

non craft beer accounts for 89% of all beer. There's also a 2008 MillerCoors merger/deal thingy. Many people suspect AB-InBev-SABMiller to have to sell the Coors bits to the MolstonCoors branch of that MillerCoors joint venture. It's all very confusing which of the big international conglomerates is actually selling the beer.

Not to mention how stupid the names get every time they deal AB INBev? Who thought this sounds like a company that even has the potential to make something good?

That's okay. I read Playboy for the articles, anyhow. I also watched Baywatch for the rescues. Now, back to beer. Later
