As happy as I am that the Mets won, I'm equally happy that the Dodgers didn't win as the result of a dirty play and fucked up officiating. Fuck the Dodgers!

I ran into Orel at a restaurant in 2001. I shook his bear-like hand and told him I could never forgive him for 1988. He said "Hey, what about 1999, I held my own for the Mets." My response, "Did you win the World Series in '99?" He nodded and walked off. Fuck the Dodgers.
