I'm David Wright

Some people call me the captain. I can admit, other than that Game 1 hit, I had a pretty stinky NLDS. But I dare any opposing pitcher to have a false sense of security. I can strike at any time and should still be one of the most feared hitters in the lineup. I'm looking forward to sending a baseball or two out to Waveland Avenue.

I'm so happy that David Wright is going to get to play in a World Series. I'm glad he's being rewarded for that leap of faith that he took in resigning with the Mets. I have to admit, I had my doubts it would happen during his remaining time with the Mets.
