On FX on Mondays at 10:00.

Anybody watch this and watched last season?

Season Two is 4 Episodes in and very good (Ted Danson / Brad Garret / Jean Smart). Season One (Billy Bob Thornton / Martin Freeman / Colin Hanks) was also incredibly good and very entertaining. You don't have to have watched one season to watch the other - completely unrelated stories and casts.

Not based on the movie at all - just similar in that it takes a northern small town climate and puts a murderous caper with bad peeps and good cops in a big bowl of awesome.

Re: Fargo (TV Series)

Loved the first episode, but that's all I've seen so far. With the series and all I'm behind on this, maybe 3 behind in TWD, and still haven't seen this weeks Doctor Who.

This show will be a must watch.

OE: Yes, the first season was magnificent and is recommended watching.

I'm loving this. But I missed the last episode (#4). And I searched the FX schedule, only to learn that they only air showinga on Mondays (into early Tuesday AM). FX doesn't air repeats throughout the week. What FX does is, on Mondays, when they air a new episode, they'll repeat last week's episode one time, like at one or two or three in the morning, Tuesday. So next Monday I'll have to do some recording magic so that I can watch ep4 before I watch ep5.

I was able to catch up via free on-demand (cablevision/optimum). Perhaps you can utilize that?

It's a good show. I'm enjoying this season better than last (which wasn't bad, either).

I live close enough to that region that I can tell which accents are good and which are bad. Their hitting at about 75% (which can be irritating when they miss). The guy who plays the typewriter shop owner essentially stole all of his vocal inflections and characteristics from William H Macy in the movie.

You can try the FXNOW app, too.

Technically, they ARE related-- Lou is first-season Deputy Molly's dad, and Danson is her grandfather.

So, so very good. Mordant AND ruminative, and occasionally very funny.

Ahhh, I did not realize that...Molly Solverson. Got it. Cool.

The last episode was pretty phenomenal. Bruce Campbell as Ronald Reagan: genius! Plus it featured a Jeff Tweedy cover of "Let's Find Each Other Tonight" as a nice throwback to José Feliciano from the original movie.

Good stuff.
