The latest James Bond film. There are the obligatory women, chases, winter scene and explosions. But this is a darker Bond, and the cinematography reflects it. At first glance, the story might seem to be there only to hold those things together. But long time Bond fans finally learn something about how James Bond became .007 and his longtime relationship with one of his arch enemies.
That revelation may not be enough to make this one of the best Bond films ever, but it adds something unexpected to this formula-based series.

Re: SPECTRE (2015)

What a pile of steaming, stinking, steaming, stinking grade "A" monkey crap.

It's like the writers looked at all the gags and tropes from the Austin Powers films and decided to make them self-referential. And please don't tell me it was meant to be a homage because this is the 4th film of a rebooted series. I hated Skyfall and Sam Mendes is overrated. I fear for the future of the franchise when Daniel Craig is replaced. However, I no longer feel invested -- at this point i'm more over Bond than Kurt Cobain was over life.

Re: SPECTRE (2015)

i did like SKYFALL, but this was a turd.

Not as big a turd as some others in the history of bond films, and made watchable by Mr. Craig's great version of Bond, but certainly the weakest of the current crop.
